How do our medical alert systems work?

A subscriber pushes a help button and the signal is received by our well-trained customer-monitoring care associates. Contact is attempted through the button, monitor, or telephone. If no contact is made, help is dispatched. If contact is made, we follow the subscriber’s request. The help sent can be 911, family members, neighbors, and friends. The order and list of contacts is up to you.

AT-HOME SERVICES

A small, lightweight, waterproof wrist or necklace button is worn and can activate a home-based monitor for access to a 24hr customer-monitoring care associate. This monitor can be a landline or cellularly connected and no landline or cell phone is necessary. This system is our least expensive but offers excellent protection against emergencies in the home.

MOBILE SERVICES

A perfect system for active subscribers who may still drive or go for walks is our Mobile solution. A lightweight, water-resistant pendant with GPS and WiFi technologies can not only access help from almost anywhere, but it can also direct emergency services to your current location. The subscriber is able to contact a customer-monitoring care associate directly through the pendant at the press of a button. The pendant does require charging periodically, but we offer reminders if necessary.

FALL DETECTION

Fall detection is available for all our products. This feature is designed to detect falls without the “help button” being pressed. It works off motion-sensitive components and algorithms designed by aerospace engineers. Fall detection offers an added layer of protection and is especially critical for certain medical conditions.
